Hello world,
For quite sometime I have wanted to get into tech blogging but I have often felt rather inadequate due to my lack of specific tech knowledge. In other words I am a tech lover that couldn't code to save his life. Anyways I have decided not to let this perceived disadvantage get in the way of voicing my opinion on a subject I like so much so here I am losing my blogging virginity. My aim and purpose for this blog is firstly to cut out a lot of bullshit that has become the backbone of many tech blogs I often read. I will not name names to avoid crucifixion in the tech community. However I will name the bullshit I am referring to. I have grown sick and tired of the same old tech giants flooding the blogosphere. No disrespect to Facebook, Google, and the other big names but I think tech bloggers really need to make an effort in pushing new stuff instead of running every little detail about the Big Boys. The other day I had to sit through a whole article about Twitter changing its logo and don't get me started on the Facebook IPO and a whole host of 'Why Facebook will be gone in X years'.
Phew, had to get that off my chest....I am also hoping to cover news from the perspective of the lay man which I pretty much consider myself as I have little to no tech background. Sometimes I read tech blogs and can't help but feel techies get carried away by thinking everyone out there is a techie. I hope you enjoy the posts and contribute with your comments.
